In 2010, I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara. I had every intention of going to medical school and completed all my pre-med coursework, but life had other plans. After graduation, I entered the fashion industry as a product developer, something I never expected. I spent nearly a decade working with brands like UGG, Fox Racing, Urban Decay Cosmetics, Oakley, and PacSun. I enjoyed the creativity and fast pace, but deep down, I knew I was meant for something more meaningful.

That inner calling led me to pursue graduate studies at Alhambra Medical University in 2019, where I immersed myself in Eastern Medicine. It was there that I found harmony between my background in Western science and a more holistic, mind-body-spirit approach to health and healing.

Then in 2021, everything changed. I became pregnant with my son during a time of global uncertainty. The limitations and impersonal nature of my prenatal care led me to a powerful decision: I would give birth at home, on my own terms. I had been practicing HypnoBirthing and visualizing the sacred experience I wanted. When the time came and no birth team was available, I stepped into my own power and delivered my son, standing up, with my own hands, in complete peace.

I remember the moment before giving birth to my son, I looked up at a printed copy of the birth affirmations I had written. My final affirmation said, “My body achieves what my mind believes.” At that moment I asked my body to open and immediately gave birth to my son. When I caught him in my hands, I had the most satisfying feeling of accomplishment I have ever experienced in my entire life. “I did it“, I thought. I had the divine birth that I so deeply desired.

That experience transformed me. It awakened a calling I could no longer ignore. Now, it’s my mission to help other mothers experience the same empowerment, trust, and serenity in their births. I believe deeply that birth is not just a physical act, it is a spiritual journey, a sacred rite of passage.
